YSFlight Free Aeroplane Flight Simulator

YSFlight is a completely free lightweight flight simulation computer game for your computer (supporting Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems). It’s only a small 35MB program and is designed to be less computer/graphics intensive, the game has also been designed to be very compatible allowing directX, OpenGL and CPU rendered versions of the program (.exe), so everyone can enjoy no matter which PC you have.

YSFlight was invented in 1999 by Soji Yamakawa (aka Captain YS) for a university project, but he is continuing to develop as part of a fun hobby of his. You can visit the authors site here: www.ysflight.com, he regularly post blog posts on any updates he does to the game.

YSFlight is very popular on download.com receiving hundreds of download each month, in late 2012 it passed its 1,000,000 million download which is a fantastic achievement for a completely un-advertised game.
